Therapy for Couples
Strengthen your bond from the inside out.
When it comes to your relationship, sometimes you feel endlessly stuck in an excruciating lose-lose situation. If you stay: you’re signing up for a never-ending string of bitter fights, ceaseless anger, and eternal disconnection. If you leave: you’re destroying multiple lives, including your own. Even when you manage to find a momentary respite from resentment, the love and intimacy you need feel completely out of reach. You know that something has to give, and yet, the harder you try to heal this broken bond, the deeper the wounds seem to get. It’s time to try something different.
If you’ve tried couples therapy before, perhaps your therapist tried to assess who was in the wrong, teach you stronger communication skills, or encourage one of you to atone for past wounds. In limited cases, these may be moves in the right direction for healing the bond between you and your partner but ultimately, they will not heal the root of the issue. When it comes to healing wounded relationship bonds, I practice Emotional-Focused Therapy because it gets under the surface level fights between you and helps you both connect on a deeper emotional level. By addressing the underlying emotional needs and attachment issues, EFT fosters a secure bond and builds lasting intimacy.
In our work together, we will explore the patterns that keep you stuck and transform the negative cycles that have taken over your relationship. Through a safe and supportive environment, you’ll learn to express your vulnerabilities, rebuild trust, and create a foundation of mutual respect and understanding. Whether you’re dealing with infidelity, power struggles, or simply feeling disconnected, my goal is to help you and your partner rediscover the love and connection you once had. Let’s work together to turn your relationship into a source of strength and joy.
